Muskogee, OK

Here I sit, after trying to 2 1/2 hours to get connected to the internet. This has not been fun. I was having withdrawals. Not a pretty sight! I found out that some wireless company are not compatible with Mozilla. While waiting for the tech support to call back, I decided I should consider food. Since I left on my trip, I have managed to satisfy all my cravings: Sonic, Whataburger, Mexican, BBQ and a couple of seriously good steaks. I didn't feel like driving anywhere, so I walked across the parking lot to the only food place in sight... Popeye's. I figured since I haven't had any cluckers in quite a while (it gives me a headache), I give it a shot. It wasn't bad, but not as good as I remember from many years ago. And the spicy is a whole lot better than the bland. Adding honey helped. Now I'm more full than I need to be, with a headache on top of it to add to my misery. When I checked in the hotel, they upgraded me to a "jacuzzi suite" because it was on the ground floor. Am I so old that I look like I can't make it up one flight of stairs? No increase in price, so I figured, why not. Interesting room. That's the biggest jacuzzi I've ever seen, inside. Not only is it a jacuzzi, but it's also the shower.... smack dab in next to the bed. (See above picture.) Who designed such a thing? That's the silliest thing I've ever seen..in a hotel at least. I'm going to freeze in the morning, unless I turn off the a/c, and then I might melt. There's a heat advisory here, and it doesn't take long for anything to roast in this heat. Which, by the way, as long as I don't have to be out for extended periods of time, I love it! :) I actually saw a moron jogging yesterday, in 105 degree heat. How stupid do you have to be to do that?
