Radio
I'm sitting here, wanting to post, and what do I find? Blogger is Âdown for maintenance from 4:00-5:30 PDT. ARRRRRRRG! So, I'm going to copy and paste from my word thingy.
Listening to the President on WTMJ through the internet. Gotta love that! Over a thousand miles from home, and I can listen to the radio from Wisconsin. Is that cool or what! Sometimes, technology can be annoying, but right now, I'm pretty impressed. :) Hey, I'm old, what can I say. We didn't even have a TV till I was 4. My parents never would get one of those new fangled colored TV's, till we all moved out. :/
I'm kind of confused as to why there isn't more applause when the President mentions Mark Green. In context of his speech, they should be standing up, cheering. The were a lot louder when he talked about the good the tax cuts have done for the economy, they cheered the comments on the troops, but it didn't sound like they were so enthusiastic for Mark. I wonder why that is? I didn't get to hear the whole speech, my husband called and let me know he was on. Oh well, I'm sure I'll read about it on other blogs. :)
The news just came on. Glenn has decided NOT to run? What's that all about? I'm so confused. I think Glenn is a terrific guy and would make a great senator. Perhaps, if he starts campaigning now, he can run for Feingold's seat. :)
I also heard it was a whopping 63 degrees. Wanna swap? It's down to 98 here right now (6:24pm). It was up to 100 according to the thermostat in my car on the drive here.
