Ahmadinejad

Only a couple more days, and we'll find out what Ahmabooboo's response is going to be to the "resolution" from the UN. Iran's Ahmadinejad: 'No One Will Stop Us'
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad insists that nuclear power is Iran's right and "no one will stop us" developing the country.
Oh yeah, just what the worlds needs, another lunatic with excessive firepower.
In an interview with Britain's Guardian newspaper, he said a United Nations resolution insisting on the suspension of its nuclear activities was U.S.-inspired and would fail.
Anything the UN does fails as far as I can tell, US inspired or not.
"They are trying to deny our right to develop nuclear power. But no one can impose anything on the Iranian people. They will not succeed," he said while on a campaign tour of the north of his country.
No one can deny them anything, except their own government, who seems to be denying them the right to live peacefully with the rest of the world.
"Our main task is to develop and build the Iranian nation. No one will stop us."
What is he trying to build it into?
Iran has insisted it is enriching uranium to generate electricity from nuclear power. The United States, Britain, France and Germany among others fear it is a cloak to disguise a program to build nuclear weapons.
And wouldn't it be a shock to find out otherwise, eh?
The U.N. Security Council passed a resolution at the end of July calling on Iran to suspend uranium enrichment by August 31.
One more useless resolution that does nothing, absolutely nothing. Your tax dollars at work.
Iran has set itself an August 22 deadline to respond to an offer of economic incentives designed to persuade it to comply with the suspension demand.
I'd like to know why the UN is allowing Iran to call the shots. Hmmm.... oh yeah, cuz the UN is completely and utterly useless to enforce anything.
