Kennedy "Demands" Amnesty?

I've never been a fan of Teddy Kennedy. I think he is one of the more useless human beings in either branch of Congress. Now he's telling Republicans to grant amnesty or lose control? I don't think so! It's not that it I don't think losing control of Congress isn't possible, it's that I think the Republican incumbents are looking at battles from newcomers who do NOT think amnesty is such a great idea...with the support of a good chunk of Americans. Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) warned Republicans to either accept the Senate's version of immigration reform - which includes amnesty for illegal aliens - or risk losing Congress to Democrats in the upcoming mid-term elections. "If we can't get this Congress to pass fair immigration before now, we'll elect a new Congress in November that will pass it," said Kennedy to a cheering crowd at a rally supporting amnesty for illegal aliens on the National Mall. "We will pass an immigration bill in Congress that is worthy of America."

Perhaps if the old sot would actual get out of his "ivory tower" bottle once in a while, he'd realize that the only immigration bill that is worthy of America is one that actual STOPS the illegals, and punishes those who have broken our laws to get here. Every action has consequences. Every inaction has consequences too. Congress' inaction is taking a toll on this country, and heads are going to roll.
