People are Oblivious

I'm a people watcher. Basically what this means, I have to watch out for other people, because they certainly aren't paying attention. I just spent the last hour dodging people in the Wal-Mart in Beaver Dam. Doesn't anyone ever watch where they are going? Oblivious! This brings me to other things, like those people who refuse to stop at the STOP sign. It's plainly marked, it bright red, how can they not see it? We live on the corner street of a one way street, and right there, on the corner, is a stop sign where few make the effort to actually stop. It's not just the rolling stop.... it's the barely slow down and haul ass type stop. Now, I don't know about you, but to me, that's neither smart nor safe... for anyone! Oblivious! I was listening to the radio on my way back and heard a caller talk about why we need get out of Iraq. The rational, it's not part of the "war on terror". Oh really? What do you call those lunatics who are killing Iraqi civilians on a daily basis, missionaries? That of course will bring up "We shouldn't have gone there in the first place, then it wouldn't be happening!" Uh huh... and the biggest terrorist of all, in Iraq, along with his devil spawn, would have just kept right on torturing and killing innocent civilians. Don't these people ever pay attention? Oblivious! The examples go on and on, ad nauseum, not only in every day life, but on the "world" scene as well. Oblivious!
