Contradictions

I had almost finished my thoughts and BOOM.... error notice, such and such will now shut down. Imagine.... Ol' Broad having a serious hissy fit! And it was good too. Unfortuately, I didn't save to draft before it went poof. sigh... Well, I'll do my best to recover what my brain will allow. Nuts... I had the links all done with commentary. *^%# Ok, while I was making my usual attempt to get both eyes open before starting to get ready for church this morning. I decided to take a gander at The Fond du Lac Reporter. I came across a couple of articles from AP. I found the first Muslim congressional aides taking stand : WASHINGTON (AP) -- At midday on Fridays, Muslims gather to pray in a basement room of the U.S. Capitol. Kneeling on sheets they've spread over the floor and facing east toward Mecca, they are members of the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association, about two dozen congressional aides who are part of a small but growing minority in America and in the halls of government. Ok, I'm fairly tolerant. Even though I think it's rather odd that someone has decided it's ok for Muslims to pray on government property, when we can't even have the 10 Commandments posted anywhere! Then, there was this: Iowa Prison Ordered to Close Bible Program DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- A judge has ruled that a Bible-based prison program violates the First Amendment's freedom of religion clause by using state funds to promote Christianity to inmates. So, it's ok for Muslim aides to pray but not inmates, who definitely need it much more. Why isn't the ACLU jumping all over the aides? Again, I am at a loss!
