Question!

Where are the soldiers who were kidnapped that started the whole war in Lebanon? Have they been returned home? Nope! They sure haven't. And why? Well, maybe because the "cease fire" agreement brought about by UN Resolution 1701 is just another useless piece of paper written to appease the "world". Now, Kofi Annan is going to meet with the families of the kidnapped soldiers, including the family of the one who was taken by Hamas. Gee, I'm sure glad Annan is on the ball here. Annan to meet families of captives That word "captives" bothers me, making an assumption that the soldiers were taken as POWs. But I thought it wasn't a war, at least that's what I keep reading from the left. In reality, this has been an actual war for many years, and to say otherwise, is just naive.
"The fact that the kidnapped soldiers have not been released by Hizbullah is a clear violation of UN Resolution 1701 and I expect the international community to continue acting to bring about their immediate release," Livni told Annan.
So, why are the Israelis honoring their side of the "cease fire" if Hezbollah isn't?
