Kool Aid

I don't know why this sticks in my head, but has anyone noticed that the Kool Aid guy is wearing pants? Why? I don't remember him having to wear pants when I was a kid. What changed? I wonder if he knows just how ridiculous he looks.... it's a pitcher fer petes sake! Just an absurd observation. Sorry! :)
