Trip South - Day 3

As you can see by this picture, I am now in Texas! I hear it was just as hot in Wisconsin yesterday, as it is here today! I LOVE IT! Today! Tomorrow, I'll be whining just like everyone else. :) Oddly enough, nothing much happened on my drive to Dallas from Joplin. It was sunny, the traffic was light and they finally finished the road construction between Sherman and Dallas. And it only took them 8 years! I'm impressed! Considering the fact that "construction season" year round down here, you'd have thought they could have gotten it done in 8 months. But, what fun would that have been? How could they have milked the tax payers out of an obscene amount of money if they had actually have finished that one stretch of road in record time?
