Personal Responsibility!

So, the L.A. Times doesn't think we should hold the perpetrators of fraud responsible for their own actions? We should blame FEMA for giving them the money. Uh huh. Well, I do. They should have been doing double checks, and triple checks on every person applying for aid after Katrina. However, to not hold persons responsible for their own illegal actions is just beyond my understanding. We should hold anyone who lies, cheats and steals responsible. Just like we hold FEMA responsible for being incompetent in it's duties when they screw up.
