Is it true?

Owen at Boots & Sabers is announcing that Glenn Grothman is running for U.S. Senate. I have written an email to someone "in the know" asking for confirmation, but as yet, haven't heard back. If true, this is both a good thing, and a not so good thing. On the good side, Glenn is a terrific guy, as smart as any I've ever met, and is as conservative, if not more so, than I am. :) On the not so good, Kohl has more money than... well, you know, and it's going to be tough to get Glenn's name out in the parts of the state where he hasn't had much exposure. Also, I question if the RNC is going to treat him the same way it treated Tim Michels. Since I haven't even been in the state for three weeks, I haven't really talked to anyone about this. I'm wondering if he got the required signatures to get on the ballot in September, and this is what has influenced his decision.
