Media Hypocrisy?

I wonder if the media is going to make as big a deal about Sen. Joe Biden's comments as they did Sen. Trent Lott's a few years ago. The presidential hopeful evidently stuck his foot in his mouth and then do a backpedal. Hey, he apologized for being misunderstood. We're nice people, we can forgive him for being a bigot, right? :/
