What's Wrong With This Picture!

Riverside, New Jersey is the latest town to pass laws against illegal aliens. And the problem with this is....??? I was under the impression that we already had federal laws against sneaking into the country, employers hiring illegals and not giving social services to them either. But I guess I was wrong. N.Jersey protestors clash over illegal immigration
Opponents of a local law cracking down on illegal immigrants clashed on Sunday with residents chanting "go home" as both sides proclaimed their loyalty to the United States.
People are upset over enforcing the law? I must be missing something. I can only assume that those who are protesting must be FOR breaking the law.
An estimated 300 to 400 people gathered outside the town hall to protest a recently passed ordinance that bans hiring or renting to illegal immigrants, who are accused of overburdening local services such as schools and hospitals without paying taxes.
Aren't you suppose to have some sort of documentation to be able to rent anything? And without a social security number, you can't get a job, a bank account, social services, etc.? So, if you hire, or rent to illegals, you're breaking the law, and should pay the piper, right?
As immigration supporters accused the town's council of racism, opponents chanted "USA, USA" and waved placards saying "Scram" and "Stop Illegal Immigration." A passing pickup truck drew loud cheers by flying a Confederate flag with the motto "The South Will Rise Again."
Ok, the Confederate flag and the South rising again has nothing to do with the illegal problems we're facing, so I don't get it, and I'm from the south. What gets me is that the so called "immigration supporters" seem to have it totally bass ackwards. No one is against LEGAL immigration. LEGAL immigration has always been an important part of our history.
Larry Mourey, 52, who said he had lived all his life in Riverside, denied there was any racism in his support for the town's ordinance. He said he had no problem with immigrants as long as they were legal but objected to paying taxes to support illegal ones.
Wanting to enforce the law is NOT racism.
Lindsey Sickler, 19, said she supported the ordinance because the illegal immigrants were using local services without paying taxes, and their children are driving down school test scores because they can't speak English.
Learn the bloomin' language! Now see, if someone sneaks into the country, the first thing they should do is learn to speak English. It would be less likely to "assume" the person is illegal if they could speak the language. :)
"If we were in their country and doing the same thing, they would be trying to get us out," she said.
Actually, Mexico would have us all in prison. Is that racism?
