Green Team at Walleye Weekend

So there we were, out there, passing out sports schedules, getting signatures for Mark's and Jean's nomination papers, and got kicked out. So, Sam set up the table in front of the Eagles lodge. Thanks Eagles. :) Evidently, someone on the city council decided we couldn't do that inside the park grounds anymore. PUBLIC park mind you. You know, the one OUR taxpayer dollars fund. Too many papers end up on the ground was one excuse.... like there aren't 10 times as many empty beer cups? BTW, what the heck is a walleye anyway? Yes, I know it's a fish... NOW! Sounds like a seriously UGLY fish though. :) Most all of us now are sunburned to one degree or another, but it was a good day! We only had one person give us a raspberry. Most were enthusiastic, or politely turned us down. No big deal!
