Is there hope for San Francisco?

Well, I'm not going to hold my breath, but at least one Judge in the area has some common sense.
"A San Francisco Superior Court judge on Monday threw out the city's voter-approved ban on handguns, ruling that state law trumps local jurisdictions in gun control matters."
Proposition H got overwhelming support with 58 percent of the vote. This would have "banned the possession, manufacture distribution, sale and transfer of firearms and ammunition within San Francisco." But golly gee, they would have let the cops have guns. Nice of them to consider the need to carry guns by those who are suppose to "protect & serve". As usual, a good chunk of that city think they are much smarter than the California lawmakers, and would violate any state law that doesn't happen to fall into they narrow view of the world. The example of the mayor of San Francisco performing same sex marriages spoke volumes about how they view the rest of us "small minded" types. Unfortunately, in March of this year, a
"San Francisco Superior Court judge declared California's ban on same-sex marriage unconstitutional Monday, saying it violates the "basic human right to marry a person of one's choice."
So, this all leads me to wonder... what are they putting in the water out there? Perhaps, the spotted owls have taken over and they're all disguised as SF officials.
